Using Stillnest 1.0 on iPhone: choose a place, shape the sound and set a gentle timer.

Price and availability

One-time purchase. U.S. launch price: US$1.99. All 20 places are included, with no subscription, in-app purchases or ads.

The App Store release is in preparation. At release, availability and local prices depend on your Apple Account’s country or region. Check your local App Store before purchasing.

For iPhone with iOS 18 or later. The app interface supports nine languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Italian and German. Portuguese is a website language only.

Get started

  1. When available, find Stillnest in the App Store on your iPhone. Confirm the app name and developer Kai Sun, then follow the purchase and installation steps.
  2. Open Stillnest and tap a place to start listening. No account or sound download is needed.
  3. Swipe vertically in the player, or use the up and down buttons, to switch places.
  4. Tap the heart to save a favorite. Open Favorites from the home screen to find it again.

Make the sound your own

Open Mixer to adjust the overall volume and the available layers. Each place remembers its own mix. Reset mix restores and saves that place’s default levels.

Let the evening fade

Choose 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes. The sound fades out over 30 seconds at expiry; tap Play to listen again. Pausing or switching places keeps the timer running. Returning home cancels it and stops playback. The last chosen duration is remembered, but does not start automatically.

If you cannot hear the sound

  • Check that the player is playing, then check iPhone media volume and the selected output: speaker, headphones or Bluetooth.
  • Open Mixer and check the overall volume and layers. Use Reset mix if needed.
  • After the sleep timer ends, tap Play. Disconnecting headphones pauses playback; check the output before resuming.
  • Calls or system interruptions may pause playback. If an audio reset message appears, tap Play again.

Does it work offline?

Yes. All 20 places and their ambience are bundled with the app. Listening needs no network connection. Downloading or updating the app and opening this website require a connection.

Change the app language

From the home screen, open Settings → Language. Choose one of the nine supported app languages or Follow system. The website’s language menu changes this website only.

Privacy policy

No account, advertising, analytics or personal-data collection in the app. Language, favorites, mixes and the last timer duration stay on your device.
